Release Notes - v2.68 - 9 September 2025

  • Version: 2.68
  • Release date: 9th September 2025

New Features and Enhancements

Ability to Have a Shorter URL for the Webchat Hosted Channel

Following customer feedback, the URL used for the webchat hosted channel has been made shorter so that it is easily shared via channels such as SMS, WhatsApp, and Microsoft Teams.

For existing customers using the original webchat hosted channel URL, either within a Microsoft Teams manifest or within user communications for example, this will continue to work so there is no need to make any changes.

Extend Project Flow History to Include Input and Output Parameters

Tenjin has had a history of conversation and project flow changes for some time, but there was no history available to show changes made to the input and output parameters of a project flow. This has now been resolved so that there is a complete history across all flows and all their flow actions, showing the changes made upon each save.

Minor Updates / Bug Fixes

  • Improve the usability of the variable picker within the flow designer so that it has a more consistent approach and appearance to selecting and displaying variables within flow actions.
  • Following feedback received for the recent Improve QnA Data Storage update, a number of user interface, validation, monitoring, feedback messages, and processing updates have been made to improve the usability of all impacted screens.
  • Minor improvements to the SharePoint Sync process so that it manages synchronisation errors gracefully, tidying-up after itself and removing orphaned SharePoint documents, including additional retry functionality when predefined limits are increased.
  • Improve the recently released OAuth Backup and Restore process to handle users quickly deleting OAuth connections and restoring them immediately afterwards, as well as continuous multiple restorations of OAuth connections.
  • Improve validation to address an issue identified during routine security testing for invalid jQuery query strings.
  • Update the Tenjin Azure OpenAI Completion configuration help file to address some recently received customer feedback.
  • Resolve error from appearing when viewing a transcript of a conversation that took place prior to the Assistant-Level Projects and Flows update.
  • Update the validation for adaptive cards within the flow designer so that an image with an openUrl action is no longer valid and the user is informed.
