Release Notes - v2.62 - 23 April 2025

  • Version: 2.62
  • Release date: 23rd April 2025

New Features and Enhancements

Allow Manual Handling of GPT Tool Calls

Following feedback received from flow developers, the Chat Completion flow action now has an additional 'process functions automatically' option, which defaults to on, and controls whether the functions are automatically executed; if disabled, the details of each function the LLM thinks is required will be included in the flow action's JSON response. This provides the flow developer more control on how these functions are managed, which means they can decide how, or even if, these functions are called and inputted into the overall result of the user's question.

There is more information and examples included in the Chat Completion flow action's help pop-up.

Improve Flow Validation and the Display of Errors

How validation errors appear after trying to save assistant or project flows has been given an overhaul so that they are now easier to see and no longer appear individually after each save attempt. Upon saving your flows, if there are errors, each flow action impacted has a new more obvious error icon with all errors appearing within the properties panel.

If a validation error occurs after you save your flow, click the red error icon in the bottom-left and you will be guided through each error in turn.

  • New security framework added, extending user and API login functionality.
  • Improve filtering on the Documents page, allowing the user to now filter to documents with errors and warnings.
  • Improve error checking and functionality on the Document Search administration page specifically when uploading multiple files, allowing users to exclude files with errors prior to the upload taking place.

  • Resolve an issue when there are multiple Chat Completion flow actions in a single flow that call the same functions, which would cause flow to fail.

  • Removal of an unnecessary scroll bar within the QnA more menu.
  • Automatically expand the advanced section of the Query Documents Using AI flow action when values exist within it so that they are immediately visible.
  • Automatically close / hide the administration navigation area when a link is clicked on mobile devices.
  • Improve how textual information appears on a mobile / reduced sized screen, reducing wrapping and stopping text from overlapping other content.
  • Make more use of the available space on the User Details page to reduce how often information wraps on to a second / third line.
