Release Notes - v2.60 - 25 February 2025

  • Version: 2.60
  • Release date: 25th February 2025

New Features and Enhancements

Document Review Dates

You spoke; we listened! It is now possible to set review dates on files within the document search skill, setting a review period for all files, a selection of them, or none, with the following available for selection at the assistant level or against individual files:

  • No review required
  • Number of months

The updated document search page allows tenant administrators to filter and sort the list of files, making it very easy to see files that require review either now or in the future. Files can be reviewed individually or in bulk.

Improve Viewing & Editing of Files in Document Search Skill

Due to the introduction of our new SharePoint synchronisation feature, which was released in version 2.59, along with the above document review functionality, the layout of the document search skill page has been updated to improve its overall usability whilst also making sure it's more consistent with other areas of Tenjin. There have been a number of improvements made, but the items worth highlighting are:

  • The slide-down details have now been combined with the details pop-up into a new 'view details' pop-up dialogue, which is available from the ellipsis menu on the right of each file.
  • The editing of a file's details, keywords, filter tags, and review period, have all been combined into a new 'edit' pop-up dialogue, which is available from the ellipsis menu on the right of each file.

Removal of Tenant-Level Data Store (Part 1)

Due to the minimal use of the tenant-level data store, with most of our customers preferring to use the assistant-level data store, we have taken the decision to start the removal of the tenant-level data store functionality. The first part of this work is the removal of its use by our customers along with deprecating the Get Data Store Blob Value flow action.

All customers using tenant-level data store values have already been informed and we have worked closely with those customers impacted, moving their data store values to the assistant-level data store.

Flow Action Deprecated

  • Get Data Store Blob Value - The Get Data Store Blob Value flow action has been deprecated and no longer available for selection in the flow designer because assistant-level data store variables can be selected from the pop-up variable picker, in the same way that all other variables can be selected.

Minor Updates / Bug Fixes

  • Increase the maximum number of results that can be returned when using the document search OpenAI flow action, increasing the value from 5 to 50.
  • Improve the colour scheme of the small notification banners (aka. pills) in the document search skill so that their colour better represents the status they are portraying, whilst also making sure errors and warnings are more obvious.
  • Improve the examples provided when bulk adding new users, making sure they demonstrate all data import options.
  • Reorder the options displayed in the ellipsis button against each file within the document search skill so that they are in a more logical order with less chance of the delete option being selected by accident.
  • Improve how the page titles appear in a browser's history because they are not correct, they are off by one, meaning if the browser's history is used the user will navigate to an unexpected page where the title does not match the page that has appeared.
