New Features and Enhancements
Automated SharePoint Synchronisation for Document Search Skill
An exciting new feature recently introduced into Tenjin for a small number of early preview users is now available for all customers; it's the ability to synchronise the document search skill with one or more SharePoint locations, meaning Tenjin's document knowledge base can now be updated automatically using your company's SharePoint locations. Users no longer have to login to Tenjin to upload and manage files, this is all managed automatically on a predefined schedule.
The ability to tag files within the document search skill has also been updated to allow tagging to happen automatically as files are synchronised using a predefined set of tagging rules, meaning you can tag files automatically using their filename and / or their original SharePoint location.
Allow a Third-Party to Start a New Tenjin Conversation in Microsoft Teams
Following customer feedback, we have added a new API endpoint specifically to start a new conversation with a known user in Microsoft Teams. Tenjin has always allowed a third-party to continue a conversation with a user, but it can now start a new conversation with a user. This is useful in scenarios where an automated process may need to include a 'human in the loop', such as governance and human validation.
If you'd like to know more about this new functionality, and how Tenjin can start a new conversation in Microsoft Teams with a known user, please get in touch.
New Restart Flow Action
A new flow action has been introduced into the flow designer, enabling flow developers to cancel an existing conversation and send the user back to the beginning of the conversation. This can be useful in situations where the conversation is no longer following a defined path, the user wants to start again, or an error has occurred with a required third-party integration.
New Flow Action
- Restart - This new flow action is a simple drag-and-drop into the flow designer, and when called will restart the conversation.
Minor Updates / Bug Fixes
- Clearly highlight deprecated flow actions, providing greater visibility to flow designers, guiding them to where they need to update their flows.
- Display the name and type of each return parameter within the Call Project Flow action, making it easier for flow designers when calling project flows, meaning they no longer need to have two tabs open at the same time.
- Improve the layout and appearance of the Test Expression pop-up dialogue so that it makes more use of the space available, allowing the flow designer to see more of what they are testing without having to scroll.
- Remove copyright bar from the bottom of all Tenjin pages to maximise the space available for Tenjin functionality.
- Improve the styling used by numbered lists within the assistant so that the numbers appear synchronously.
- When a file within the document search skill is replaced the filter tags no longer get reset and will remain for the new document.
- Improve the inline help for adding and configuring the Email skill and associated flow action using feedback supplied by users.
