New Features and Enhancements

New Send Email Skill and Flow Action

Following customer requests, flow developers now have the ability to send emails within the flow designer using a combination of the assistant's Email skill, which is where the SMTP server is configured, along with the Send Email flow action, which is where the 'to' email address, subject line, and body of the message are entered.

The Send Email flow action uses the selected SMTP configuration to send the email, meaning you can send email from your preferred / work email domain, so that emails received by your users / employees come from a known and trusted domain.

New Flow Action

• Send Email - Select the email connection from the email skill and then send an email to an individual, customising the subject and body of the email, with the ability to store the SMTP server response.

Ability to Award Users with Custom Badges

To provide our customers with more flexibility and greater customisation options with their third-party integrations, we have added the ability for custom gamification badges to be created, further extending the system-driven badges already available, and allowing users to be rewarded for anything the administrator and flow designer define.

Full configurability has been provided for each custom badge including its name, number of points awarded, whether it's repeatable, and if the selected task must be completed a number of times before the points are awarded.

New Flow Action

• Record Badge Rule Progress - This new flow action allows a custom gamification badge to be awarded to one or more users, all within a single action. Each user can be specified by either their internal Tenjin ID or their email address, providing greater flexibility whilst working with both types of user identifiers.

Minor Updates / Bug Fixes

• Improve the Expressions help documentation to include more examples for working with arrays.
• Upgrade the Document Search model to "text-embedding-3-large".
• Add a new Delete All menu option for Expert Assist questions, which means an administrator must no longer delete questions individually.
• Allow Data Store variables to be used directly within adaptive cards without having to save their values into a new flow variable first.
• Update all the date and time pickers within Tenjin to provide more flexibility with a start and end date.
• Put the typing focus into the chat input automatically when the following are opened: webchat, hosted webchat, test assistant in admin area, and workspace assistant.
• Allow Tenant Admin API clients to call the proactive flow endpoints.
• Remove import and restore functionality from read-only users whilst making sure they continue to have access to export and backup functionality.
• Remove the 200 records limitation from measurement downloads so that it downloads all measurement data, no matter how many results there are.
• When renewing the URL used for hosted web chat, immediately update the associated QR code.
• Update the list of allowed file types when replacing a file within document search so that they match the list provided for new file uploads.
