New Features and Enhancements
New SMS Channel
Tenjin has always officially supported Webchat and Microsoft Teams as communication channels, and now SMS is an officially supported channel for your assistants. The new SMS channel utilizes Twilio to enable communication with the mobile network, which means a Twilio account and phone number is required; phone numbers can be purchased through Twilio.
To add the new SMS channel, navigate to your assistant's dashboard and click on the Channels icon. Using the Add Channel button, you can add the new SMS channel by inputting your Twilio registered phone number, account SID (string identifier), and authorization token. Once added, your users can communicate with your assistant using their mobile phone and SMS in the same way they may already use Webchat or Microsoft Teams.
Bulk Delete of Users
Following customer feedback, administrators are now able to delete more than one user at the same time. This is achieved by simply selecting the users you'd like to delete, which can occur across multiple pages, and then clicking the Delete button at the top of the page.
Previously, each user needed to be deleted individually, which took time when multiple users required deleting. This new functionality includes a confirmation pop-up and improves the overall user experience by making the process quicker.
