Expert Assist questions are requests for knowledge, giving other users the ability to submit answers. Once a number of answers have been submitted, and the knowledge seeker has selected the correct answer, an administrator can optionally publish the answer to the QnA knowledge base.
The information below is specific to the administration pages.
Create a New Expert Assist Question
- Click Expert Assist from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click the Create Question button in the top-right of the screen.
- Type your question, click Next, and then follow the on-screen wizard through to step 3 where you can click the Submit button to complete the submission.
- The new question will be displayed in the Expert Assist list of questions, both in the administration area and within the workspace, where your colleagues can add their suggested answers. If configured within flow, experts will also be notified about the new question.
Edit an Existing Expert Assist Question
- Click Expert Assist from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click the ellipsis (three dots) button on the far right of the question you would like to edit, then select View from the drop-down list.
- When you're viewing the selected question, click the small blue pencil icon next to the question; this will make the question editable.
- Once you have updated the question, click the Save button.
Delete an Existing Expert Assist Question
- Click Expert Assist from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click the ellipsis (three dots) button on the far right of the question you would like to delete, then select Delete from the drop-down list.
- Click OK to confirm the deletion.
